Our Purpose

The Wisconsin Mental Health Alliance is an association of independent mental health providers, with the common goal of serving all populations of people with mental health needs. This includes a vow of association members to accept patients on Medicaid, aka Wisconsin BadgerCare or Forward Health, and Medicare.

Many clinic organizations in Wisconsin will not accept Medicaid or Medicare because of lower reimbursement rates. We do.

​

Through our cooperative effort, we have the collective power to work as a team of counselors and medication prescribers who operate independently, but with the strength of numbers.

​

Mental Health professionals who join us receive the benefit of a group billing option for many companies, along with credentialing support with insurance carriers. They also benefit from the marketing experience of Dr. Probst, who spent over twenty years in media, advertising and marketing.

You don't have to work for other people and you don't have to turn down people with lower incomes or the elderly.
